Studio Roles


Director;
In charge of the creative side to the show

Producer;
In charge of the more managerial side to the show

Lighting; 
In charge of making sure that the lighting rigs are in the right place and that they are in a safe place so it wont be the reason for any harm to come to the actors or other crew members

Camera;
In charge of the cameras and making sure that they are working in the correct way and that they are connected correctly to the editing room

Health and Safety Manager;
In charge of making sure that all wires are taped up and also that there are no trip of slip hazards around the set

Sound Mixer;
Works in the editing room making sure the sound is coming through the microphones correctly

Vision Mixer;
Making sure the cameras are in the correct position and will look right when editing has to be completed

Sound Operator;
Works alongside the sound mixer and helping them fulfil their rolls

Scripter;
Works with the director and producer and also the actors to create a script for the show

Cast;
These are the main people that will be performing in front of the cameras. This are the people that have to be able to either intrigue the audience and also sell the product

Art Director;
This person is in charge of all makeup, costume and set design ideas. They have to plan and also set out all the set to make sure it fits the situation of the scene

Lighting Assistant;
This person helps out with the lighting rigs and keeps a close eye on the safety side to the lighting

Floor Manager;
In charge of making sure that everything on the studio floor is safe and easy to access and also in the editing room as well. This person works really closely with the director and producer

Runner; 
These people work closely with every member of the crew and are there if something goes wrong or something needs to be retrieved from another location. They are basically there to help out
