Chosen Song

As a group, we went through a list of potential songs that we thought would be good to make a music video for. After considering songs such as Emile Sande's Clown and Pinks Try, we agreed that Gabrielle Aplin's version of 'The Power of Love' would be the best song to use.

Some of our ideas for this were that it would be a slow-paced video and even adding in elements of slow motion in the more intense parts of the audio. We all agreed that it would make the visuals more meaningful and more emotional if we show it in this way. Even though we are having fast paced overlays of aggressive behaviour in some of the shots, we decided that they will be more aggressive and heartfelt if they were in slow motion. This will help the audience really focus in on what is happening to the artist.

We also thought this would be the best song to use because of the peer feedback we gained. They all suggested that it would be the easiest video to portray a story too and it has more emotion and meaning than the other songs we thought about.
